Which NOC is demand in Saskatchewan in 2022?

 The Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand stream of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) run by the government of Saskatchewan, is one of the International Skilled Worker streams. Candidates with experience in the SINP occupation in-demand list 2022 and a high enough SINP Points Assessment Grid score can apply for the stream.

Candidates who are successfully nominated through the Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand stream will be asked to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The SINP Points Assessment Grid is used to rank candidates who are interested in this stream. Only those individuals with the most competitive profiles will be invited to apply to the program on a formal basis.



Requirements to work in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan 

  • Language Proficiency

Candidates must exhibit proof of English or French language fluency to be eligible for the SINP occupation in-demand list 2022. All applicants must have valid language test results demonstrating proficiency at or above the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 4.

  • Education

All applicants must possess an educational certificate equivalent to a one-year post-secondary diploma in Canada. If an applicant's profession is regulated in Saskatchewan, the candidate will almost certainly be required to produce certification or eligibility for certification as part of the application process.

  • Work Experience

Candidates applying through this stream must have a minimum of 12 months of full-time work experience in a high-skilled occupation with a NOC level "A," "B," or "0" that is not on the SINP Excluded Occupations List. 

  • Points Assessment Grid

All candidates for SINP occupation in-demand list 2022 must have a minimum of 60 points on the SINP Points Assessment Grid. 

  • Settlement Funds

Candidates must meet Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada's settlement money requirements (IRCC). This might be shown by their own financial situation or by keeping a valid job offer.

SINP Application Process

The Expression of Interest (EOI) mechanism is used in the Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand stream. Candidates that meet the basic stream requirements can use the SINP Online platform to create a profile. After submitting their profiles, the SINP points grid and CRS score calculator Canada - will assign each candidate a score and rank them against one another. During one of the SINP Draws, the highest-ranking candidates will get an Invitation to Apply. 

A candidate must submit a comprehensive application to Saskatchewan within the specified time restriction after getting an invitation. Candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of $350 CAD when applying for SINP. If Saskatchewan approves the application, the candidate will be notified that they have been chosen for provincial nomination.

The applicant will receive this notification through email. At this phase, the candidate receives a provincial nomination, allowing them to file a federal application for permanent residence in Canada. 

An applicant has six months after getting a provincial nomination to submit their permanent residency application. Applicants in this program must fill out and mail a paper-based application for permanent residence to the appropriate application center. Permanent residency applications submitted on paper are typically processed in 18 months.
